Cleaning Day is a festive day of recycling. We also co-operate with the some of the biggest recycling and collection operators in the metropolitan area. For Cleaning Day we’ll have in Helsinki recycling points whereto you can bring the goods and stuff you no longer need.
You will find the locations of the recycling points on the same map with the stands. Recycling points are open at 12 am to 6 pm. If you do not have time to sell Cleaning Day, you can at least clean up your closet and give a new life to your old stuff.
New in the recycling points
Siivouspäivä's own textile collecting point. All kinds of textiles, clothes, shoes and bags, no matter what's their condition, are received. 50% of the material is resold, 47% is reused elsewhere, and 3% is turned into energy. Material is mainly reused in cars, washing machines, insulation materials, on roads and other reuse products.
